Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Design Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy in Glasgow or Birmingham offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, integrate, verify and deploy HVDC control & protection application functions.
  • Document processes and conduct customer training sessions.
  • Travel internationally for assignments and collaborate with the passionate team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science or software engineering.
  • Proven experience in HVDC projects and control system design/testing.
  • Strong interest in industrial application development and programming.
  • Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in digital technology, signal processing, control system design and power system industry.
Estimated Salary:

£60,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
