About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at the Bodmin Jail Hotel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through targeted sales strategies, building strong relationships with corporate clients, and capitalising on opportunities to maximise occupancy and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other potential sources of business
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, negotiate contracts, and develop new business
  • Identify opportunities to maximise occupancy and revenue by analysing market trends, competitor strategies, and the hotel's unique selling points
  • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts, providing management with insights on sales performance and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Experience in sales & revenue management within the hospitality industry is essential
  • Knowledge of hotel distribution channels, pricing strategies, and market segmentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving revenue targets
