Application Support Manager

The Applications Support Manager at Citigroup Inc. is responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve results through effective management and coordination. This role requires a deep understanding of how different areas integrate and contribute to the overall objectives of the function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more applications support teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of end results.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance across systems and applications, leveraging skills across multiple areas.
- Collaborate closely with business heads and technology teams to provide a holistic view of the production environment.
- Work with development managers to ensure outstanding issues are tracked to closure, particularly long-term strategic fixes.
- Consult with clients and development managers to understand strategic objectives and provide guidance on feedback reviews.
- Responsible for budget management and resource planning, assessing risk and ensuring the firm's reputation and safeguarding are maintained.
Requirements:
- Experience in applications support or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to share information effectively with team members and technology teams.
- Ability to plan and organize workload, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
