About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at the NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food services to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for patients and staff, ensuring that all food is of high quality and meets the Trust's nutritional standards.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure that all food services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Support the catering team in the preparation and serving of meals, including special diets and cultural requirements.
- Assist with the ordering and stock control of food and kitchen supplies.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a catering environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Basic food hygiene qualification or willingness to complete within 12 months.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
