About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at the NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food services to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for patients and staff, ensuring that all food is of a high standard and meets the Trust's nutritional guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure that all food services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Support the Chef Supervisor in the management of the catering department, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a catering environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Basic food hygiene qualification or willingness to complete this within 12 months of commencing the role.
- HACCAP qualification or willingness to complete this within 12 months of commencing the role.
