About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our attendance team as an Attendance Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to promote regular attendance and reduce student absence.



Key Responsibilities



  • Work with students and families to identify and address attendance issues
  • Develop and implement attendance strategies to promote regular attendance
  • Collaborate with staff to identify and support students at risk of absence
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and absence
  • Provide reports and data to inform attendance strategies


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of the education system, particularly in relation to school attendance. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel to support in reporting and tracking attendance. Experience of using Arbor and its reporting systems would be an advantage.
