We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Investigo Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

About the Role

\

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working from home and in the office. You will be based in Luton and will have access to all the necessary tools and resources to perform your duties efficiently.

\

The successful candidate will have strong numeracy skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. If you are proactive, self-motivated, and have a 'can-do' attitude, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

\

Your key responsibilities will include:

\
  • Ensuring that all cashiering-related discrepancies are dealt with promptly
  • Checking, investigating, posting corrections, balancing, and compiling a reconciliation consolidated report for Credit Cards daily
  • Preparing and issuing the Daily Revenue Report to all heads of departments within the Company
  • Checking if all Revenues have been posted to the correct Revenue Streams
  • Assisting in generating journals in the accounting system during month-end
  • Collecting, chasing, and posting suppliers' invoices onto the system daily
  • Processing cashbook transactions daily
  • Preparing payment runs for the purchase ledger on a regular basis

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A basic understanding of finance
  • Proven Excel intermediate experience
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and capability - generally good technical skills
  • Experience of working in a team environment
