Holt Engineering Recruitment Limited is seeking an Experienced Quality Operations Manager to lead the Inspection and Quality department in ensuring high-quality production processes.

Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining and improving relationships with customers and suppliers, managing quality systems and processes, scheduling work, monitoring and maintaining KPIs, leading, training and developing a team of quality professionals, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with company health and safety standards.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Essential qualifications and skills include GCSEs in Maths and English, proven experience supervising teams in a similar environment, strong understanding of CNC milling and turning principles, mechanical inspection background, history of inspecting CNC Milled or Turned components, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and excellent organisational and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can drive process improvements, motivate and develop a team, and ensure the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction. They will also be proficient in industry-standard software and technology, including CMMs (MCOSMOS) / vision measurement systems.
