Job Title: Project Accountant - Inorganic Lithium Chemicals
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our client's team in the Inorganic Lithium Chemicals industry. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for gathering financial and operational data, providing assessments and analysis, and supporting business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support projects in different stages, including project schedule, budget control, and financial analysis.
- Prepare project economics, including financial models, valuations, and risk-sensitivity analysis.
- Lead project budget and forecast processes, including financial and operational data.
- Assist project teams with financial guidance and provide analytical solutions.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to support business decisions.
- Support the business unit in economic questions, business management, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operational Planning, and Global Engineering teams to drive business growth.
- Provide standard and ad-hoc analyses for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Conduct business unit controlling and generate regular reporting from SAP.
Requirements:
- Degree in business administration or a related field, and/or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified.
- Previous experience in operations and project controlling, including the development of KPIs to measure performance.
- Understanding of the chemical industry or manufacturing plants is an advantage.
- Strong affinity for finance and excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience with SAP is essential for this role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent documentation and data mapping skills.
