About the Role
As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will join our multidisciplinary team at Badby Park, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver person-centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of residents and organize this efficiently and effectively.
  • To formulate and deliver an individual Occupational Therapy management and treatment programme based on specialist knowledge of clinically reasoned and evidence-based practice and treatment options.
  • To oversee the clinical OT supervision, education and performance of more junior members of therapy staff, students and therapy assistants.


Your Qualifications and Skills:
You will need to possess an Occupational Therapy profession qualification and extensive relevant post-qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needs. Demonstrating highly effective clinical reasoning skills and having specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models are also essential requirements.

What We Offer:
We offer an annual salary of £40,500 pro rata, equivalent to 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), free meals and parking, wellbeing support and activities, career development and training opportunities, pension contribution, life assurance, enhanced maternity package and other benefits.
