About the Role
The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception services, including answering telephone calls, responding to emails, and greeting patients and visitors.
- Manage and coordinate appointments, including scheduling and rescheduling as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and administrative data.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Good standard of education in English and mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is desirable.
