About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Assistant Team Lead to join our dynamic Customs & Import team at Lidl in Deutschland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of specialists and oversee workload to ensure high-quality customs activities.
  • Train and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure customs compliance to trade rules and regulations, maintaining a strong understanding of UK/EU customs legislation.
  • Build and analyze import data reports and dashboards to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Customs and Trade Compliance, with a strong technical understanding of import data analysis.
  • Customs certifications preferred, with a solid knowledge of UK/EU customs legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to manage a team and drive process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
