About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our care home team in Fife Council's Residential and Day Services. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing positive support and encouragement for people to make their own choices and decisions in all aspects of their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide flexible support to enable service users to access activities and achieve their personal outcomes.
  • Promote social inclusion by working with people to maximise their personal independence, health, wellbeing and access service opportunities in their local communities.
  • Work on a rota basis within the care home, including early shifts, late shifts and a period of night duty, unsocial hours will be paid at basic rate plus 1/3 hourly rate.
Requirements
  • Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
  • Provide care and support which meets the Health and Social Care standards.
  • Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
  • You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
