We are seeking a seasoned leader to join Mane Contract Services and spearhead high-impact projects in racing systems for a leading global motorsport organisation at the very heart of Formula 1 racing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Software Leadership: Ensure the development of high-quality software and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Racing System Development: Lead the development of innovative products within a small team and contribute to cutting-edge innovations.
  • Technical Project Management: Manage technical projects across various areas, including support and improvement of critical race applications.
  • Architectural Design: Design modern software architecture and ensure high-quality, well-documented code.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Lead and mentor software developers, participate in team activities like demos, design reviews, and system planning, and assist with bug fixes, development, and testing.
  • Technical Expertise: Build expertise across all systems with a focus on a specific area, and provide onsite technical support during race weekends.
  • Adaptability: Work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent commercial experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET development tools, including experience developing/supporting event-based architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
  • Skilled in handling high-frequency, real-time data and proficient with Pub/Sub mechanisms in .NET.
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon AWS (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB) and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DocumentDB.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive full-stack experience with .NET and C# and expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and patterns like MVVM/DI/CQRS.
