Senior Support Worker

A prestigious care provider is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join their exceptional nursing home in the Weymouth, Dorset area. As a key member of the care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily needs assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Lead and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and coaching
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication
- Participate in care planning and coaching support workers
- Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Proven experience in a care setting, with a focus on resident-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.75
- Annual salary of £23,868
- Permanent full-time role, 36 hours per week
- Enhanced rates for bank holidays
