About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Lead to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Our Future Hospital Programme team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering communications that engage stakeholders at a local, national, and political level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote our hospital services
  • Work closely with the Our Future Hospital Programme team to provide specialist advice and support
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with the programme's plan
  • Develop complex engagement plans for large programmes and ensure their successful implementation
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, public, and other key stakeholders

Person Specification
  • Proven experience in communications and engagement, particularly in the healthcare sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and adapt to new challenges
  • Experience of working on high-value estates projects and developing complex engagement plans
