Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Engagement Lead to join our Our Future Hospital programme. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a once-in-a-generation project to redevelop and futureproof our hospital services.

As a Communications and Engagement Lead, you will work closely with our programme team to develop and deliver communications that engage stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external staff, patients, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on high-value estates projects, developing complex engagement plans, and creating effective communications strategies. You will be able to work in a constantly changing environment and have the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver communications strategies to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Work closely with the programme team to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with the programme's plan
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external staff, patients, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop complex engagement plans for large programmes
  • Provide specialist advice on communications and engagement

Requirements:

  • Experience of working on high-value estates projects

Salary: Salary Band 8a: £53,755 - £60,504 per annum pro rata (pay award pending)
