Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Staff Partners Limited, a private, 56-bedded hospital in the Manchester area.

As a Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to children and families. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clients' goals and needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' concerns
  • Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of therapy

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Full accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
  • Proven experience in providing therapy services to diverse populations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate others
  • Proficiency in IT systems and electronic health record management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to develop rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
  • Knowledge of different therapeutic modalities and interventions
