HSEQ Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Newport. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of key processes and present findings to the Health and Safety team.
  • Assist in implementing actions and improvements arising from risk assessments.
  • Develop and document HSEQ procedures to enhance the company's health and safety, quality, and environmental performance.
  • Ensure compliance with external accreditation requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Ecovadis.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support objectives, targets, and trends.
  • Analyze incidents and data to calculate statistics and conclude on safety metrics and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on rail-specific safety and industry standards.
  • Deliver in-house training on health and safety issues and risks to management and employees.
  • Hold NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications.
