About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Credit Research to join our team at eFinancialCareers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our credit research team and providing expert analysis to support our investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Credit Research Team: Manage, oversee, and train a team of credit researchers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct in-depth fundamental credit research.
  • Conduct Credit Research: Conduct thorough and comprehensive credit research on Emerging Market corporate bonds, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to provide accurate and timely recommendations.
  • Provide Relative Value Recommendations: Offer expert advice to portfolio managers on relative value opportunities across the capital structure, helping them make informed investment decisions.
  • Present Investment Ideas: Present investment ideas to the Investment Committee and Portfolio Managers, actively participating in portfolio decisions and discussions.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 2.1 honors.
  • Professional Qualifications: Possess excellent academic credentials in Finance, with a CFA or Master's degree being highly desirable.
  • Experience: Have at least 15 years of experience in credit research, preferably on the buy-side, with a strong background in Emerging Market credit research across Investment Grade and High Yield corporate bonds.
  • Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Personal Qualities: Be passionate, driven, and possess a high level of attention to detail, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Language Skills: Be fluent in English, with additional European language skills being a desirable asset.
