Intern to EM Corporate Credit Research

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Emerging Markets Corporate Credit Research Team as an intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit research and analysis, working closely with experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of publicly traded companies in emerging markets, focusing on their creditworthiness and financial performance.
  • Support the team in evaluating credit risk factors, including industry trends, competitive landscape, macroeconomic environment, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports summarizing research findings and credit recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with market developments, news, and industry trends related to emerging markets and provide timely updates to the team.
  • Collaborate with team members in data gathering, modelling, and scenario analysis to support credit risk assessment and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of credit analysis frameworks, financial markets, and emerging market dynamics is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
