Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Mowbray School in Ripon. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the professional work of teachers and taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teaching and learning process by working with teachers to plan and deliver lessons
  • Assist with the supervision of students during lessons and activities
  • Provide individual support to students with special educational needs
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organization and time management skills
