Parker Drilling is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rig Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drilling operations and equipment, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Operate and monitor drilling equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Rig Technician or in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of drilling equipment and operations.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Proficiency in operating machinery and power tools.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
