Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in an Acute Mental Health ward in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an inpatient setting with adults who have mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with mental health conditions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a valid license
- Experience working in an inpatient mental health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
