About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner/Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre team at Renacres Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists during operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing surgical scrub services for orthopaedic procedures, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Working effectively in a team environment to ensure smooth and efficient operating theatre procedures
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and patients
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Warm, considerate, and empathetic character
