Radii Partitioning Limited is a leading provider of partitioning, architectural glass solutions, and certified glazed fire-rated systems. We create environmentally sustainable and beautifully designed spaces that matter to our clients and end users.

We have an opportunity for an apprentice to join our busy contracts team to undertake the Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship. The apprentice will undertake a programme to learn, understand, and ultimately carry out the role of Assistant Contracts Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

The following sets out the typical duties and responsibilities of an Assistant Contracts Manager:

  • Responsible for the site management and safe installation of Radii product, on time and within specification and budget.
  • Attend Start up Meetings with MC if required.
  • Attend Trade Contractor Meetings.
  • Attend internal Radii start up meetings.
  • Carry out logistics surveys and provide reports for the wider team.
  • Compose delivery schedules for required materials.
  • Compose project-specific RAMS.
  • Formulate installation plan and Build Sequence.
  • Compose and maintain a detailed Project Installation programme.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with Main Contractor and other Sub-Contractors.
  • Monitor progress of trade contractors ensuring enabling works for Radii are achieved in time.
  • Chair weekly project meetings with wider team.
  • Ensure install is as per our approved drawings.
  • Ensure installation is to the highest standard.
  • Ensure installation is carried out to budget and report any issues into the Commercial Team.
  • Day-to-day running of site and supervision of fixer and labour teams.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards and paperwork.
  • Ensure project is handed over snag-free.
  • Weekly reports back into the wider team.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and assurance protocols.
  • Use specialist construction management computer applications.
  • Ensure knowledge and awareness of your roles and responsibilities under the Company's integrated management systems in relation to Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental.
  • Ensure knowledge and understanding of the Company's policies and procedures in relation to data protection legislation.
  • Work without supervision.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to own personal development within the role.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required.

Qualifications

The following or international equivalent are required:

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent including English, Maths, and one Science, or previous completion of a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Hours and Environment
  • The standard working week is 37.5 hours a week working 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break each day.
  • During the apprenticeship 20% of your work time will be dedicated towards off-the-job training.
  • You may be required to vary your start and finish times to accommodate client or site requirements.
