About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at STRABAG UK Ltd. in a Senior Project Coordinator position.

Job Description:
  • Manage and supervise site teams, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project designs, construction methodologies, programs, and budgets, taking into account resources, procurement, consents, and pre-start documentation.
  • Train and mentor site teams to optimize their work contribution, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor and review contractual agreements, developing detailed site-specific programs and forecasting budgets.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring efficient resource allocation and effective management.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works.
  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the Construction Manager, QA, and QS teams, addressing non-conformances and client/designer/RE instructions.
  • Maintain accurate daily site diaries, documenting changes/variations, subcontractors' attendance, and work-related discussions.
  • Ensure inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and method statements are implemented and followed.
Requirements:
  • A suitable building/civil engineering technical qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing, and best practices.
  • Ability to use initiative based on engineering and practical experience.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability when interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Relevant CSCS Card and training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
