Job Title: Business Process Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Business Process Engineer to join our team at Robert Walters Direct Sourcing EMEA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new business processes for our digital retail bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end design of business processes, formulating recommendations for implementation using industry-standard tools (BPMN/BPA)
  • Partner with internal groups and stakeholders to agree on a plan of action, implementation, and tracking to ensure project success
  • Engage stakeholders to drive a productivity agenda across teams in Operations
  • Coordinate project activities across different client service and operations groups, technology teams, and cross-functional groups such as compliance and legal
  • Monitor project status, mitigate risks, escalate issues when necessary, and manage stakeholder expectations
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in UK Retail Banking functions, preferably in digital banking channels (Onboarding / Payments / Lending / Fraud / Fincrime / Servicing / Treasury)
  • Business process management experience involving analysing as-is business processes, mapping process flows, and recommending improvements
  • Good transformation experience in various implementation environments (process reengineering, greenfield implementations, etc.)
  • Consulting experience in a similar industry from a reputable firm is a plus
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Consulting experience with exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives within retail banking
