Parcel Delivery Position

We are seeking a skilled Route Based Parcel Delivery Operator to join our team in Ulverston. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to customers across the area, requiring a high level of organisation and time management skills.

About the Role

You will sort mail for your designated route and complete daily deliveries using vehicles up to transit size. Our advanced technology will enable you to capture customer signatures and navigate your route efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our delivery operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of community and enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions. A full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort mail for your assigned route
  • Complete daily deliveries using vehicles up to transit size
  • Capture customer signatures using a hand-held computer device
  • Navigate your route efficiently to ensure timely delivery
What We Offer

An estimated salary of £13,370 per annum, based on 6 hours minimum per day and 5 days out of 7. This role offers flexible working patterns, allowing you to maintain a good work-life balance. You will also benefit from being part of a dynamic team and contributing to the success of our delivery operations.

Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points
  • Strong sense of community and ability to work independently
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role (preferred)
