Maintenance Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team at Apple Orchard. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties in Surrey and West Sussex.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining, repairing, and fixing various items in and outside of our homes
  • Carrying out snagging, tiling, painting, and decorating tasks
  • Undertaking ground maintenance, plumbing, and electrical repairs
  • Replacing double glazing units and performing general fixes
  • Liaising with home managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
  • Full driving license
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
  • At least 5 years' experience in property maintenance or a relevant field
  • Basic IT skills and ability to work independently
