Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our property law department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage client files for residential property transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure fair distribution of workload and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates to clients and manage billing processes to ensure seamless financial transactions.
  • Utilize case management systems and technology to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Manage post-exchange tasks, including property registrations, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of client correspondence and legal documentation, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Participate in regular meetings with senior colleagues to review caseloads and discuss professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload of residential files, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and other legal technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to collaborate and support colleagues.
