Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse and Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the lead teacher in delivering educational activities and assisting with the care and supervision of children in a nursery or educational setting.
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play, and help with meal times, nappy changes, and other basic care tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, and work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.
Required Qualifications
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and First Aid certification.
Additional Requirements
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, and prior experience working with children in a nursery or school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Working Conditions
  • Regular interaction with children, parents, and other staff members, and some physical activity required, such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
