Senior Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team at the London Borough of Bromley, in Adult Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to a transformative journey in social care and work with a dedicated team of professionals.
About the Role:This role involves undertaking care management and safeguarding tasks as per statutory duties under Adult Social Care legislation, and utilising various IT systems to record information contemporaneously on social care systems.
Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, and participating in regular supervision, training, and career development activities.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England, proficient in performance management and supporting staff through complex casework, competent in using IT systems relevant to social care, and able to prioritise tasks, meet performance targets, and manage systems effectively.
Our Package:We offer a competitive annual salary of £47,070 - £53,063, plus a Golden Hello & Annual Retention Allowance, 30 days annual leave, participation in the Local Government Pension Scheme, extensive training and career development opportunities, free car parking at Bromley Civic Centre, mileage claims for business trips as per HMRC guidance, relocation allowance (up to £8,000) for eligible candidates, and discounts at local retailers.
