Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic support worker to provide care and support to a range of service users with varying needs. This could include those with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviour. Our service users are typically very active and enjoy getting out into the community for activities such as bowling, the cinema, and singing and dancing.

As a support worker, you will be providing support to individuals of different ages and personalities, promoting their individuality and enabling them to live in-line with their support plans. You will be involved in social, educational, and work activities to help promote the service users' social, emotional, cultural, and physical well-being. There are elements of personal care within the role, as well as general housekeeping and domestic duties.

Typical shifts can range, including days and nights. The shift patterns are long days and wakeful nights. There is also a potential for sleep-ins.
