About the Role

Menzies Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Ramp Agent. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage and cargo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload baggage manually or mechanically, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Sort and process baggage efficiently, using BRS and Brock scanners as required.
  • Conduct area hazard checks and report any safety concerns to management.
  • Perform aircraft inspections and equipment checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with flight deck personnel and other airport staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Operate company GSE and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in winter operations, providing de-icing services to customer airlines as required.

Requirements

  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • A full 5-year work/unemployment/education history.
  • Valid passport.
  • Proof of National Insurance.
  • Proof of address.
  • Full and valid UK driving license.
  • Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance.
