We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Policy Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our planning discipline team, you will play a critical role in driving change and supporting our clients in the real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules that align with project requirements and adhere to NEC or FIDIC contract processes.
  • Assist project teams in developing status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
  • Oversight of day-to-day management, staffing, and the implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers to schedule work and coordinate assignments.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying developing problem areas.
  • Assist project managers in maintaining timely and effective change management processes and procedures.
  • Conduct analysis to understand alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
  • Undertake project reviews and monitor the project managers' reporting system.
  • Monitor and advise on the status of project KPIs.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • A membership to a relevant professional body, such as the Association for Project Management or Project Management Institute.
  • The ability to make risk-based decisions where the parameters are unclear and judgment is needed.
  • Project team leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire, and lead by example.
