Salary: £28,196 per annum
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Milton Road Day Nursery and Preschool in Cambridge.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and education to young children, as well as excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team of professionals.
About the Role:
- Leads, mentors, and inspires a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensures the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for children across both indoor and outdoor areas
- Delivers and plans rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to help all children develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develops and maintains strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promotes and ensures child welfare, protection, health, and safety, as well as safeguarding
- Works with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
