Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Operative to join our team in Wisbech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and adhering to our high standards of quality and productivity.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor the work area to ensure a safe and clean environment, and maintain machinery to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Perform daily machine safety checks and record packs per minute (PPM) on machines, ensuring products are not overweight or underweight.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and efficient product changeovers, minimizing downtime and maintaining quality standards.
  • Liaise with Line Leaders and engineers to report any issues or concerns, and adhere to 'World Class' standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of English Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Previous experience with SOPs and working in a food factory (ideally in the salads industry).
  • Good level of English and Maths skills.
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene principles.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
