About the Role

The Research & Innovation Development Office at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is seeking an experienced professional to support the development of world-leading research and innovation activities. As a Research Funding Manager, you will play a critical role in planning and managing funding applications to external funders, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver on external income generation targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of research funding applications to external funders
  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver on external income generation targets
  • Provide expertise on funding landscapes, grant writing, and compliance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external funders and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of research strategies and plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in supporting or assessing research funding applications at a Higher Education Institution (HEI) or funding body
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize a busy workload
  • Customer-focused and able to work well under pressure
  • Good understanding of full economic costing and research costing systems
