About the Role

The Research & Innovation Development Office at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is seeking an experienced professional to support the development of world-leading and impactful research, innovation, and knowledge exchange activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support colleagues across ARU in fostering research excellence and external income generation targets
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including academic and professional colleagues, to plan and manage funding applications to external funders
  • Develop a deep understanding of Health and Social Care/Business and Law research expertise and aspiration, various funding landscapes, grant writing, and compliance with possible training delivery
  • Work with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver on external income generation targets and proactively engage with ARU's commitment to research excellence
Requirements
  • Minimum degree level education
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting or assessing research funding applications at an HEI or Funding body
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Highly organised, customer-focussed, and able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Good understanding of full economic costing and research costing systems
  • Ability to work well under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines
