About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Practice Lead to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Corporate Nursing Team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our Trust's Advanced Practice Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a large cohort of students studying the apprenticeship Advanced Clinical Practice Programme.
  • Coordinate the education programme and activities required to support Advanced Clinical Practitioners in practice and for higher-level study.
  • Take forward the Trust's Advanced Clinical Practice strategy and ensure organisational adherence to the Trust's Advanced Clinical Practice policy.
  • Lead the coordination of Advanced Clinical Practitioner students' activities in education and clinical settings within the Trust.
Requirements
  • Current registration with a professional body such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
  • Registered Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.
  • Leadership qualification or course.
