Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to take on a lead role within the Corporate Nursing Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement the Trust's Advanced Practice Strategy, driving improvements in patient care and outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a large cohort of students studying the apprenticeship Advanced Clinical Practice Programme. This will involve coordinating the education programme and activities required to support the ACPs in practice and for a higher level of study.

You will also be responsible for taking forward the Trust's ACP strategy and ensuring organisational adherence to the Trust's ACP policy. Additionally, you will lead the coordination of the Advanced Clinical Practitioner students' activities in education and clinical settings within the Trust.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the development of the Trust's ACP workforce. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Nursing and other senior leaders to drive improvements in patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
  • Current registration with a professional body such as the NMC or HCPC
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Registered Independent Non-Medical Prescriber
  • Leadership qualification/course
