MSAT Standards Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join GlaxoSmithKline as a Technical Standards Expert, working within the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) function at the GSK Ware Site. As a key member of the MSAT team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing technical standards that drive business excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more Technical Standards, providing expertise on the technical standards defined by the global teams.
- Provide coaching, learning, and guidance to site teams on the technical standards, building site capability in core MSAT standards.
- Contribute to the development of tools, templates, and guidance for the effective implementation of technical standards on site.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement of the standard and propose right site governance to implement and deliver technical standards.
- Work in partnership with global MSAT Standards colleagues to deliver key projects, continuous improvements, and initiatives within areas of expertise.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Standards Expert who has a strong background in manufacturing science and technology. You will have a proven track record of delivering technical standards and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively in a complex matrix environment and have a strong continuous improvement mindset.
Basic Qualifications- Relevant degree qualifications (e.g., Science, Technical, or Engineering degree).
- Knowledge/experience of technical standards with proven application and delivery obtained from working in a complex manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and understanding of its impact on your role.
