SEN Specialist

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced SEN Specialist to join a lovely, family feel autism base in Brent. This full-time, long-term role offers the opportunity to work with pupils with autism, challenging behaviour, and associated learning disabilities.
The School
This autism base provides education for pupils with high autism needs, offering access to sensory rooms and other helpful tools. With a maximum capacity of 12 children, this base ensures personalized support and integration into mainstream classes according to individual levels of need.
Responsibilities
As a SEN Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and assessing pupils with Autism, working with support staff to put in place and run interventions, supporting behaviour by following children's plans, updating and setting targets for children, and working alongside Speech and Language Therapists.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience working within SEND and a strong understanding of autism needs.
