Job Title: Care Support Worker

This role is available in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK's busiest and most successful NHS foundation Trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management. Your duties will include monitoring patients' conditions, assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse, and ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • All Care support worker roles require completion of the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. Evidence accepted includes student nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements, Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation, QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011, and more.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £16.92 per hour (dependent on experience) with the opportunity to earn up to £25.05 per hour. You can also look forward to a choice of flexible Bank shifts or fixed term placements across any of our client Trusts in England.
