Key Responsibilities
  • Managing Initial Referral Discussions (IRDs) for unallocated children across the city.
  • Assessing risk and need, and coordinating necessary services to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
  • Providing ongoing support to children and families, ensuring necessary services are delivered effectively and in a timely manner.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in managing child protection cases within a statutory children and families team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of statutory child protection procedures, including IRDs, CPPMs, and safety planning.

A proven track record of writing detailed assessment reports and updating chronologies in line with statutory requirements is essential. Strong collaborative skills, with experience of working effectively with other professionals, are also required.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
