About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at MCGREGOR BOYALL ASSOCIATES LIMITED. As a Database Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with on-prem database upgrades and providing support to existing databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-prem database upgrades
- Provide support to existing databases
- Design and implement solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture
- Implement agile delivery models such as Scrum and Kanban
- Perform data replication and high-availability technology
- Experience with cloud database monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code
- Testing disaster recovery procedures
Requirements:
- Experience with technology including MongoDB, Postgres, AWS IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, Ansible, Typescript, CDK, and AWS dev tools such as Cloud Formation
- Experience with SQL and monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch and Grafana
- Desirable experience with Informix, Oracle, Typescript, OpenSearch, Serverless (Lambda)
