Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Education, Health and Care Plan Co-ordinator. This is a full-time, permanent post that requires a sound working knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the ability to manage a diverse caseload of pupils.

The successful applicant will be responsible for receiving requests for statutory EHC Needs assessments and supporting the process of assessment and development of EHC Plans. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to co-productive working with parents, carers, children, and professionals.

As part of our SEN team, you will be responsible for conducting EHC needs assessments, issuing and maintaining EHC plans, and coordinating educational placements for children with SEND. We are committed to continuous improvement and strive to achieve positive and impactful outcomes for every child and young person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and processing EHC Needs assessments
  • Supporting the development of EHC Plans
  • Coordinating educational placements for children with SEND
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A sound working knowledge of SEN
  • The ability to manage a diverse caseload of pupils
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
