Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Austin Fraser. As an Aerospace Safety and Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of our employees and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience working in a busy industrial manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for implementing and managing long-term health and safety initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments, generating site-specific risk assessments, method statements, and spot check audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  2. Auditing and Reporting: Prepare and submit audit reports when required, managing internal and external auditing processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a relevant field, such as quality or health and safety. You will also require experience working in an environment that conforms to management standards, such as ISO9001 and ISO14001. Six Sigma qualifications are highly desirable.
