Role Overview
Vision for Education is a leading education supply agency committed to the development of young people. We are seeking a highly skilled Autism Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in specialist provisions around Llanelli.

About the Role
As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide academic and emotional support to students. You will engage with students who have various abilities and help them reach their full potential. The role will start on an ad-hoc basis, with the opportunity to become a full-time contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualized support to students with autism and complex needs
• Assist teachers in creating personalized learning plans for each student
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with other support staff to achieve educational goals

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need: • Experience working with children with additional needs • A patient and caring nature • Ability to motivate and engage students • Ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors
